Children

CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES

JUMC is intentionally intergenerational. We love kids and we welcome them in worship. We love to see them participate with music, as acolytes, reading scripture and during our Children’s Moments in each service.

Sunday School

Currently we offer Junior Church following the Children’s message in worship. There are 2 adult volunteers who walk the children from the sanctuary to a classroom in the education wing. The children have a bible story and then an activity and/or craft each week.

Children’s Ministry Team

Our Children’s Ministry Team plans fun family events throughout the year. Some of these events include: Advent Family Project, Hanging of the Greens, Family Game Day, Ice Skating, Palm Sunday Family Project and many others. We seek to offer events for families and individuals that help them to connect with one another and to meet new friends.

Nursery

Most of our parents of young children choose to keep their children with them during worship however, we will be happy to have a nursery caregiver available as needed. Children 3 yrs and up may attend Jr. Church.
